Days before the 2023 Olympia, a hamstring tear forced him out. In 2024, after winning the New York Pro, his team withdrew him because his body was not responding.
He returned in 2025 with a second place at the Pittsburgh Pro and a third New York Pro win, but finished only sixth at the Olympia.
Then came 2026. Walker finished second at the Arnold Classic in Columbus on 7 March, behind Andrew Jacked, and won the Franco Columbu Most Muscular Award.
On 1 August he won the Tampa Pro, his fifth professional title. Seven weeks later, in Las Vegas, he beat Dauda into second and Lunsford into third to win the 2026 Mr. Olympia and the $600,000 winner’s cheque.
