From Damascus to the British Stage
Daboul was born in Damascus, Syria, and fell for training young. Lifting started as a hobby and slowly turned into an obsession with building a balanced, aesthetic physique.
He settled in the United Kingdom and began competing in 2018. His earliest outings came at NPC Worldwide qualifiers on British soil, in both Men’s Physique and Classic Physique.
The Classic division suited his structure best. By 2019 he had earned his IFBB pro card and stepped onto the pro stage at the Yamamoto Pro Cup in Italy.
The first pro seasons were a grind: a podium at the 2020 British Grand Prix, hard lessons at the Romania Muscle Fest. Daboul kept showing up — and kept getting sharper. 🔥
The Arnold UK Reign
His breakthrough arrived in Birmingham in the autumn of 2021. Daboul won the Classic Physique title at the very first Arnold Classic UK, beating a deep British field.
Twelve months later he did it again. At the 2022 Arnold Classic UK he defended his crown against Christian Zagarella and Wesley Vissers, booking his first trip to the Olympia. 🏆

Weeks after the second UK title he added another trophy, winning the 2022 Dubai Pro. The quiet grinder from the British circuit was suddenly a winning pro.
A Winning Habit: 2023 and Beyond
Daboul’s best season came in 2023. He won the Pittsburgh Pro in the spring, then backed it up with victory at the New York Pro — two of the most respected titles on the American circuit.
Later that year he added the Musclecontest Austria Pro title and finished runner-up at the EVLS Prague Pro. Few Classic pros anywhere stacked up three wins in a single season.
He stayed a fixture at the top end of the division afterwards, taking fifth at the 2024 Arnold Classic in Ohio and fourth at the Arnold Classic UK a fortnight later.
In June 2025 he struck again in the Middle East, winning the Dubai Pro for a second time. The wins kept coming because the formula never changed: arrive peeled, pose with polish. ✨
Four Trips to the Olympia
Daboul made his Olympia debut in Las Vegas in 2022, placing 10th in a line-up ruled by Chris Bumstead.
He improved a year later, climbing to sixth at the 2023 Olympia — still the best Olympia finish of his career. Seventh followed in 2024 and eighth in 2025.

Michael Daboul in 2026: A Win, an Apology and a Big Decision
Daboul’s 2026 season began after ten months away from the stage. In August he travelled to China and won the Huanji China Pro, his eighth professional title. 🥇
Less than a week later he took third at the Austrian Oak Pro. Daboul reacted emotionally to that result, then addressed it himself in a public apology, accepting that his reaction had taken attention away from the athletes who beat him.
Across the season he had also banked 16 Olympia qualification points — enough to earn his place at the 2026 Classic Physique Olympia without needing a win.
Then came the surprise. On September 3, 2026, Daboul announced he was withdrawing from the Olympia anyway, choosing to shut his season down, improve and grow.
