Andre Ferguson was born in the United States in 1985 to a black family. From a young age, he showed a keen interest in weightlifting and watching sports like football and baseball. 

As a teenager, Ferguson started training at the gym and quickly developed a love and passion for fitness and bodybuilding.

Ferguson was also dedicated to his education. He completed his high school education and college studies, remarkably balancing his academic and fitness goals.

He followed that up with an eleventh-place finish at the Bev Francis Atlantic States in the Men’s Physique in the same year. In 2014, Andre competed in three NPC competitions, including the Junior USA Championships, the Universe, and the Nationals. 

He placed fourth in the Junior USA Championships and eighth in the Universe but claimed the top spot in the Men’s Physique Class B category at the Nationals, earning his pro card.

After turning pro, Andre Ferguson continued to compete at a high level, quickly becoming a prominent figure in the IFBB Pro Men’s Physique division. 

In his first year as a pro in 2015, he placed twelfth at the Olympia. However, he bounced back in 2016, earning a first-place finish at the Tampa Pro and a second-place finish at the New York Pro Show. He also placed fifth at the Arnold Classic USA that same year.

He also finished second at the Arnold Classic USA and second at the Olympia, cementing his status as one of the top competitors in the Men’s Physique division.

In 2018, Andre Ferguson resumed winning, taking home first place at the Arnold Classic USA and the Sheru Classic Pro in Latin America. He also placed fifth at the Olympia.

The following year, Andre Ferguson won the Puerto Rico Pro, the City Limits Pro, and the Arnold Classic USA. He finished second at the Olympia, narrowly missing out on the top spot.
