He went on to take first place in the open division of the same show the following year, as well as first place in the junior division of the 2014 Juliette Bergmann Grand Prix.
After a two-year break from competitions, Wesley Vissers returned to the stage in 2016 to compete in the European Arnold Classic, where he placed fifth overall in the junior division.
He then took first place overall in the junior division, second in the super heavyweight division of the 2016 Juliette Bergmann Grand Prix, and first in the open division of the 2017 Juliette Bergmann Grand Prix.
In 2017, Wesley Vissers earned his IFBB pro card by winning first place in the classic division of the Royal London Pro qualifier.
The following year, he traveled to the United States to compete in his first IFBB professional competition, the 2018 Chicago Pro, where he won first place in the classic division and was invited to the 2018 Mr. Olympia competition.
