The 2025 Mr. Olympia is done — and Derek Lunsford is champion again. 🏆
The 61st Olympia ran October 9–12, 2025, at the Resorts World in Las Vegas. Eleven divisions crowned champions across Friday and Saturday night.
Lunsford reclaimed the Sandow Trophy from defending champion Samson Dauda, who fell to fourth. Hadi Choopan finished second for the third year in a row, and Andrew Jacked took third.
Ramon Dino won Classic Physique in the first year after Chris Bumstead retired. Keone Pearson made it three in a row in the 212, and Ryan Terry made it three in a row in Men’s Physique. 💪
Andrea Shaw won her sixth straight Ms. Olympia title. And the weekend crowned new champions in Figure, Fitness and Wellness — Rhea Gayle, Michelle Fredua-Mensah and Eduarda Bezerra. ✨
Lunsford’s win completed a Triple Crown: the Arnold Classic, the Pittsburgh Pro and the Olympia in one year. He is only the second man ever to regain the title after losing it — after Jay Cutler.

Men’s Open Results
Derek Lunsford is the 2025 Mr. Olympia — his second Sandow Trophy, and the $600,000 first prize. 🏆
It was close. Lunsford won the prejudging 6 points to Choopan’s 9, and the finals 8 to 7 — 14 points to 16. Dauda, the defending champion, had looked the leader on Friday, but Lunsford turned it around on Saturday night.
Choopan finished second for the third year in a row, and also took the People’s Champion award. Jacked finished third — a career best — and Dauda dropped from first to fourth.
Lunsford battled illness during the individual posing round, and still won. The victory completed his Triple Crown: the Arnold Classic, the Pittsburgh Pro and the Olympia, all in 2025.
Prize note: two records list Choopan’s second-place prize as $250,000. Generation Iron, Fitness Volt, Bleacher Report and Fitness and Power all list $200,000, and that is the figure printed here.
