🌟 Who Is Vitor Chaves?
Vitor Chaves is one of Brazil’s most consistent Men’s Physique professionals — a board-shorts athlete known for a tight waist, balanced proportions and polished stage presentation.
While other pros appear and disappear, Chaves simply keeps showing up in first callouts. Between 2021 and 2026 he recorded 24 verified pro results, 14 of them podium finishes.
His rise has been steady rather than sudden: a 13th place on his Olympia debut in 2022 became a 7th place in 2024 and an 8th place in 2026, against the deepest fields the division has ever produced. 💪
🏆 Turning Pro: The 2021 Amateur Olympia Brazil
Chaves earned his IFBB Pro Card in 2021 by winning the Amateur Olympia Brazil — the NPC Worldwide championship that awards pro status to its champions (reported by BarBend). 🥇
He made his professional debut later that season at the 2021 Musclecontest Brazil Pro, placing 10th in a field won by Vinicius Lima, with Diogo Montenegro second (NPC News Online scorecard).
It was a quiet start — but it was the last quiet season of his career.
🚀 2022: First Pro Win and the Olympia Debut
In 2022 Chaves stepped up a level. He placed 4th at the Musclecontest Brazil Pro behind winner Edvan Palmeira, then took 3rd at the Miami Muscle Beach Pro.
Then came the breakthrough: he won the 2022 DC Pro in the United States, beating Montae Bailey — his first professional title and his ticket to the Mr. Olympia. 🏆
On his Olympia debut in Las Vegas that December, in a contest won by Erin Banks, Chaves placed 13th — a respectable first showing on the sport’s biggest stage.
💪 2023: The DC Pro Defence
Chaves opened 2023 with 4th place at the Arnold Classic in Ohio, won by Erin Banks — his first Arnold invitation, and proof he belonged in elite line-ups.
He then finished 2nd at the New York Pro behind Ryan Terry, and 2nd again at the Miami Muscle Beach Pro behind Andre Ferguson.
In June he returned to Washington and won the DC Pro for the second straight year — with straight first-place votes — before closing the season 9th at the 2023 Mr. Olympia, his first Olympia top ten. 🔥
👑 2024: The Breakout Season
If 2023 made him a contender, 2024 made him a fixture. Chaves started with 3rd place at the Arnold Classic, behind Diogo Montenegro and Vinicius Mateus Viera Lima.
Twice that spring he stood one place behind Ali Bilal — 2nd at the Pittsburgh Pro and 2nd at the New York Pro, two of the most prestigious stops on the American circuit.
The win arrived in Florida: Chaves took the 2024 Miami Muscle Beach Pro title, his third career pro victory. 🏆
He closed the year with the best Olympia finish of his career — 7th at the 2024 Mr. Olympia, in a final won by Ryan Terry, with Bilal second and Banks third.
🇧🇷 2025: A Perfect Score at Home
Chaves’ 2025 season began at home. On April 12, 2025, in Recife, he won the Musclecontest Nordeste Pro with a perfect score, beating fellow Brazilian Guilherme Gualberto in an all-Brazilian field of ten (BarBend). 🥇
He added another runner-up finish at the Pittsburgh Pro, this time behind Erin Banks, and returned to Las Vegas for his fourth straight Olympia.
At the 2025 Mr. Olympia he placed 10th — his third consecutive top-ten finish on bodybuilding’s biggest stage.
🔥 2026: The Best Season of His Career
Most pros slow down in year six. Chaves sped up. His 2026 season is, by any measure, the strongest of his career.
He opened in Ohio with 2nd place at the Arnold Classic, beaten only by three-time Olympia champion Brandon Hendrickson, with Emanual Hunter third (Generation Iron).
Three weeks later in Birmingham, he went one better — winning the 2026 Arnold Classic UK Men’s Physique title (March 27–29), the biggest trophy of his career. 🏆
In May he added another title, winning the Memphis Pro on May 9 ahead of Francisco Martinez, then placed 5th at the Pittsburgh Power & Fitness Festival and 2nd at the Musclecontest Nordeste Pro behind Vinicius Mateus Viera Lima.
He closed the season where he now belongs: on the Olympia stage in Las Vegas in September 2026, finishing 8th — competitor number 7 on the official scorecard — in the final won by Ryan Terry. Five straight Olympia appearances, and still climbing. 🚀

🔮 Vitor Chaves in 2026
As of October 2026, Chaves is firmly active — and coming off the best season of his career: two pro wins, an Arnold Classic UK title, and an 8th place at the Mr. Olympia.
There is no retirement talk. An athlete who has placed in the Olympia top ten four times, and who just beat almost the entire division in Birmingham, is a contender for 2027, not a farewell story.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Is Vitor Chaves an IFBB pro?
Yes. He competes in the IFBB Pro League’s Men’s Physique division. He turned pro in 2021 by winning the Amateur Olympia Brazil, as reported by BarBend.
How many pro shows has Vitor Chaves won?
Six. The DC Pro in 2022 and 2023, the Miami Muscle Beach Pro in 2024, the Musclecontest Nordeste Pro in 2025, and the Arnold Classic UK and Memphis Pro in 2026.
What is Vitor Chaves’ best Mr. Olympia finish?

Did Vitor Chaves win his pro card at the DC Pro?
No — and older versions of this page said he did. The DC Pro is a professional show; it cannot award a pro card. Chaves was already a pro when he won it in 2022 — that win was his first pro title. His card came a year earlier, at the 2021 Amateur Olympia Brazil.
Where is Vitor Chaves from?

What are Vitor Chaves’ age, height and weight?
They are not published in any reliable source — the Fitness Volt athlete database, built from official records, lists no birthdate, height or weight for him. Earlier versions of this page printed figures for all three, but none could be verified, so they have been removed rather than repeated.
Is Vitor Chaves still competing in 2026?
Yes. He competed six times in 2026, won the Arnold Classic UK and the Memphis Pro, and finished 8th at the 2026 Mr. Olympia in September.
