Kai Greene was born on 12 July 1975 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He grew up in foster responsibility and private treatment center placements from age six.
Kai Greene tried to find a place in the community and seemed like an outcast for much of his teens. As a result of this, the coming hero began misbehaving in school. He was ruled out from his school because of his bad behavior.
But there was one positive Kai Greene held onto in his early years, weight training. He used the gym to escape his difficulties and problems, developing his physique at 13 in 1988. He was introduced to the concept of teen competition. He soon became an aspiring bodybuilder.
Bodybuilding Career of Kai Greene
Kai Greene competed in the National Physique Committee, trying to move into the International Federation of Bodybuilders. He saw his victory in the NPC as mixed.
Kai Greene got the ‘big leagues‘ hard. He couldn’t replicate his achievements in the teen shows, placing 3rd and 6th in the 1998 NPC and 1999 World Amateur Championship.
Kai Greene won the 1999 NPC Team Universe. He was frustrated and took a five-year break from tournaments before re-emerging in the 2004 NPC Team Universe competition, which he won again.
Kai Greene had achieved his ambition of becoming an IFBB professional bodybuilder. At the age of 24, he won his Pro Card. This success changed him for a career as an IFBB professional bodybuilder.
After five years away from the stage, Kai Greene made his victory at the 2005 New York Pro. But it was not a great return for The Predator because he placed 14th. Kai Greene decided to make a name for himself and worked rigorously to increase his physique.
At 32, Kai Greene finally got his first professional bodybuilding contest, the 2007 Shawn Ray Colorado Pro. But he was just growing started. In 2009, Kai Greene won the Arnold Classic, a great success.
Kai Greene performed in his first Mr. Olympia competition in 2009 at 34. He did place a decent 4th in a passionately contested lineup. That involved Phil Heath, Branch Warren, and Jay Cutler.
