Darwin Uribe is a famous Colombian bodybuilder and a Men’s Classic Physique competitor. Uribe has been involved with fitness and bodybuilding since his teenage years, and his dedication to the sport led to him becoming an IFBB Pro competitor.
Uribe’s first show came when he was very young and got 7th place at the 2016 World Juniors and Masters Championships. His success in the fitness world has made him one of the most recognized bodybuilders from Colombia.
Darwin Uribe Early Life
Darwin Uribe was born and raised in Colombia. Uribe was always an athletic child growing up and has been interested in bodybuilding since he was a young boy.
Uribe was introduced to workouts at 15 by one of his friends. At the time, he only knew basic exercises such as crunches and push-ups, but as his muscles improved.
Uribe competed in his first show in 2016 at the IFBB (Amateur), World Juniors, and Masters Championships in the Men’s Bodybuilding class and placed 7th.
Darwin Urbe Bodybuilding Career
2019 was more successful for Uribe, as he got 2nd place at one of the biggest national contests, the Mexico Supershow.
In 2021, the Chicago Pro went down in Atlanta, Georgia. Uribe competed in the show with his full strength and got first place there, which resulted in his invitation to the 2021 Mr. Olympia. On the other hand, the Men’s Open division stole the show at the 2021 Chicago Pro Show.
In the lead-up to the contest, most of the expectations were that it was the Hunter Labrada show. Hunter Labrada got 1st place against Mohamed Shaaban, Roelly Winklaar, and Hassan Mostafa.
In Men’s Bodybuilding, Uribe never faced mass monsters such as Rubiel Mosquera, Blessing Awodibu, and Jamie Christian-Johal. In 2022, Darwin Uribe competed in the 2022 Arnold Classic bodybuilding show in Columbus, OH. Darwin
Uribe got 8th place in the show against Terrence Ruffin, Urs Kalecinski, Breon Ansley, and Michael Daboul. The 2022 Houston Tournament of Champions happened on April 16 in Texas. This event featured only one division, the Classic Physique.
And Darwin Uribe won the show and took home the title and the opportunity to compete at the 2022 Olympia. Uribe got the title in one of the most famous divisions in bodybuilding. Uribe will now be able to contest against one of the biggest names in bodybuilding, Chris Bumstead.

Darwin Uribe makes sure to start his exercises with light weights and several reps, gradually increasing the weight. As he thinks that, progressive overload and pyramid sets are one of the best ways to optimize muscle development.
Darwin Uribe suggests barbell and dumbbell curls are the best exercises for developing huge biceps. When it comes to triceps growth, his favorites are skull crushers and close-clasp bench presses.
Darwin Uribe Nutrition and Diet Plan
When Uribe was getting into sports, he was still learning about the nuts and bolts of nutrition. He tried to eat healthily but often tripped up in terms of his diet because he didn’t have enough nutrition knowledge.
Uribe sometimes takes an odd cheat meal; his diet mostly consists of clean foods, such as brown rice, broccoli, chicken, and sweet potatoes.
