🏆 Who Is Andrea Mammoli?
Mammoli is Italy’s leading Classic Physique professional — a compact, deeply conditioned athlete built around wide shoulders, a very small waist and one of the best stomach vacuums in the division.
What separates him from the field is presentation. His posing transitions are so smooth that the Arnold Classic created one of its biggest 2026 storylines around them. 🎭
He is also part of a new generation of European pros who document everything: his YouTube channel follows his preps in detail, including training trips to Brazil to work with 2025 Classic Olympia champion Ramon Dino.
🎟️ 2021: The Amateur Sweep and the Pro Card
Mammoli’s official NPC record begins with a remarkable amateur run in the summer of 2021.
He won the NPC Worldwide Empro Classic in July, then the NPC Worldwide European Championship in August, and closed the season by winning the NPC Worldwide Amateur Olympia Italy in September.
That European run carried him into the pro ranks. His first professional result came that same September — 3rd place at the IFBB Tsunami Cup Pro, a podium finish in his rookie pro season. 💪
📈 2024: The First Pro Win
After time away from the pro stage, Mammoli returned in 2024 with a full European campaign: 4th at the Hungary Kokeny Pro, 9th at the German Classic Pro and 4th at the Toronto Pro Supershow in Canada.
In the autumn he stepped up a level — 2nd at the Tsunami Nutrition Showdown Pro, beaten only narrowly, and then the breakthrough.
On 6 October 2024 he won the Italy Koloseum Pro on home soil — his first professional title, and with it qualification for the 2025 Mr. Olympia. 🏆
🌍 2025: Two More Titles — and a Hard Olympia Lesson
Mammoli’s 2025 autumn was ruthless. On 27 September he won the Tsunami Nutrition Showdown France Pro, and one week later, on 5 October, he defended his home title at the Koloseum Italy Pro in Milan — his third pro win.
Sharing that Milan weekend, fellow Italian Riccardo Croci placed 4th in Men’s Physique — a good snapshot of how deep the current Italian pro scene runs.
Then came his Olympia debut in Las Vegas on 10 October 2025, where he was scored in the tied-16th group. Italian coverage reported a costly mix-up during the call-outs — Mammoli did not hear his number called, and the call was not repeated — which kept him out of the comparisons he had earned.
Whether or not that moment decided his placing, he treated the debut as unfinished business. He would get his answer a year later. 🔥
⭐ 2026: Best Poser in Ohio, Top 10 at the Olympia
Mammoli opened 2026 in Columbus, Ohio — and produced the weekend of his life. At the 2026 Arnold Classic he placed 3rd in Classic Physique, behind Wesley Vissers and Matheus Menegate.
Then came the moment that made him famous beyond Italy: he won the Ed Corney Best Poser Award, worth $10,000, presented to him personally by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Mammoli later shared that Arnold told him, in effect, that everyone should learn to pose with transitions as smooth as his. For a Classic Physique athlete, there is no higher compliment. 🙌
Three weeks later he placed 4th at the Arnold Classic UK, then turned his full focus to the Olympia. At the 2026 Mr. Olympia on 26 September he placed 10th — a genuine top-10 finish, one place ahead of Germany’s Luca Reger — erasing the disappointment of his debut.
Most athletes would have ended the season there. Mammoli raced back to Europe instead.
📌 Andrea Mammoli in 2026: Still Winning in October
One week after the Olympia, on 3 October 2026, he won the Tsunami Nutrition Showdown Toulouse Pro in France. A week after that he placed 3rd at the EVLS Prague Pro, behind Michal Krizanek.
And on 17 October 2026 he won the FitParade Pro in Budapest with a perfect score — beating a field that included Hungarian Classic pro Richard Nagy — to book his place at the 2027 Mr. Olympia. ✅
That is five career pro wins, two Olympia appearances and an Arnold podium — and he is still only building momentum. There is no retirement story here; this career is accelerating.
🎭 The Posing: Why Judges and Arnold Noticed
Mammoli’s trademark is control. His vacuum is among the deepest in Classic Physique, and his transitions between poses are deliberately slow and seamless — no wasted steps, no rushed hits.
That style is exactly what the Ed Corney Best Poser Award exists to honour, and it is why his routines are now studied by younger athletes across Europe.
An honest note on training and diet: earlier versions of this biography published a detailed day-by-day training split, exact calorie and macro targets, a meal-by-meal diet plan and motivational quotes attributed to Mammoli.
None of that material could be traced to Mammoli himself, so it has been removed. His genuine, documented preparation is on his own YouTube channel, in his own words — that is the place to learn how he actually trains.
