🏆 Who Is Burak Ozkul?
Burak Ozkul competes in Men’s Physique, the division judged on an athletic upper body, a tight waist and polished stage presentation.
He flies the Turkish flag on the IFBB Pro League circuit — official scorecards list his country as Turkey at every major show, from the Asia Grand Prix to the Mr. Olympia.
Outside competition he works as an online coach through his own website, burakozkul.com, where he sells contest-prep and lifestyle coaching packages. 💼
🎫 2022: The Pro Card in Thailand
Ozkul’s breakthrough came in Bangkok in 2022, at the NPC Worldwide Thailand Pro Qualifier held alongside the Thailand Pro weekend.
Secondary sources and his own biography credit him with winning his Men’s Physique class and the overall title there, earning his IFBB Pro Card. The official NPC report naming the overall winner could not be retrieved for this refresh, so that detail is credited as reported rather than documented.
What is certain is the outcome: by 2023 Ozkul was on IFBB Pro League stages, and his pro career has been documented show by show ever since. ✅
🌏 2023: Pro Debut in Korea
Ozkul’s earliest verified professional result came at the 2023 IFBB Asia Grand Prix Men’s Physique Pro in South Korea.
He placed fifth in a field won by Joseph Lee, ahead of a deep Asian lineup — a solid debut result in one of the region’s strongest pro shows.
It was a quiet start, but it put a Turkish name on the pro scorecards a full year before his breakthrough. 📈
🥇 2024: The San Antonio Breakthrough
Everything changed on September 14, 2024, at the San Antonio Pro in Texas — one of the last Olympia qualifiers of the season.
Ozkul won the Men’s Physique title with a perfect score of three points, ahead of Alexander Rogers in second. BarBend noted it was his first show of 2024 — and his first pro win.
The victory booked his ticket to the 2024 Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas, where he wore competitor number 43 and finished tied for 16th in one of the largest Men’s Physique fields in the show’s history. 🏆
🤠 2025: Texas Again — the Texas Pro Title
Ozkul returned to Texas in August 2025 and did it again, winning the Texas Pro Men’s Physique title in Fort Worth.
He beat Mehdi Kabbadj in second and Joshua Guidry in third. Reports of the show described it as his second career pro victory — and it sent him back to the Olympia for a second straight year.
At the 2025 Mr. Olympia he again finished tied for 16th, in a division ruled by Ryan Terry, who won his third straight title that year. NPC News Online featured Ozkul in its “Road to the Olympia” interview and posing-practice series before the show. 💪

✅ Burak Ozkul in 2026: Still Active
Ozkul opened his 2026 season on one of bodybuilding’s biggest stages: the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio, in March 2026.
He placed seventh in a stacked Men’s Physique lineup won by Brandon Hendrickson, earning a second-callout look from the judges alongside Benquil Marigny and Emmanuel Costa.
He did not compete at the 2026 Mr. Olympia — a pro win is required to qualify, and his 2026 season brought no title — but a top-seven Arnold finish proves he remains a factor in the division. His next goal is clear: a third pro win, and a third trip to the Olympia. 🔥
